We operate with a minimal number of staff and rely on volunteers for general functionality within the club. Our operations manager has overall responsibility for the running of the club supported by a members manager, finance and facilities manager. Other functions and groups include Welfare, Health and Safety and Fundraising groups. The club also have a managing committee that over sees the direction of the club and business side at a top level. Where required we use sub groups to focus on particular projects which allows us to draw on particular skill sets.
Our coaching staff and volunteers are all qualified. Coaches over the age of 16 are also DBS check and have attended a child protection course, plus a British gymnastics diversity and inclusion certification. Some senior coaches are additionally qualified as first aiders and help to provide CPD and mentor assistant and volunteer coaches.
We are always looking for additional coaching staff and often as gymnast leave squads or reach there teens if they have an interest in gymnastic coaching they become volunteers.
